Inherently Dissipative Polymer (IDP) Alloys play an important role in helping Pozzetta photomask compacts protect photomasks from particles added during shipping and handling.  These inherently dissipative polymers are made up of a network of IDP and a host material such as PMMA, ABS, or Olefin.  The resulting material maintains the physical properties of the host material.  The IDP provides a dissipation path throughout the resulting alloy.  Cleanliness, consistency, and longevity are the key benefits of IDP’s.  Photomask compacts made out of IDP alloys will provide the photomask a very clean environment for shipping and handling.
